Yogyakarta DPRD Learns Technical Discussion of Propemperda in Jakarta

As many as 15 members of Yogyakarta DPRD visit the Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD) to conduct a comparative study in order to learn the technical discussion of the bylaw formation program (Propemperda).

It is because they are discussing amendments to the bylaw number 2/2010 on spatial planning for Yogyakarta City and amendments to bylaw number 1/2015 on spatial planning and zoning regulation (RDTR-PZ).

"By doing this our hope is that we are not violating existing rules. That's why we will explore it deeply," he expressed, at City Council Building, Monday (1/27).

Jakarta Council's Legislation Body (Bapemperda) Member Hasan Basri Umar explained, all decisions that have been refined, including Propemperda are absolute decisions. Thus the executive and legislative should carry out deliberation of bylaw based on the priority scale agreed in the Propemperda.

"To decide which bylaws to be discussed in the current year, they must first be discussed," he stated.
